Throughout March, it’s National bed month here in the UK, and we take sleep seriously at Layhead Farm Cottages.
We understand that getting a good night’s sleep is one of the main keys to relaxation, which is why we ensure all the beds in our cottages are comfortable for guests.
In an ideal world, a minimum of 8 hours sleep is recommended to wake up feeling refreshed and raring to go. Sadly, it’s not always possible at home. Your general health, thinking about work, noise and the bed itself are contributing factors to a poor nights kip.
If you’re not sleeping well, you can find lots of helpful information and tips on the Sleep Council’s website
If you need to relax, Layhead Farm Cottages is the perfect place to unwind from a busy lifestyle, and catch up on lost sleep.
Take a local walk in the surrounding countryside. Watch the wildlife and listen to the babbling brook. Amble back to your cottage and relax with a hot drink in front of a roaring fire. And when it’s bedtime, climb into your comfortable cottage bed and gently slip into the land of nod, listening out for the hoot of an owl or the cry of a passing fox.
